Microsoft Office is finally here.
The online software company on Tuesday announced a new version of the popular office suite for PCs, tablets and smartphones, known as the 2019 Office Mobile, for Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro.
The big changes are on the Windows side of things.
The 2019 Office for Mac and Windows for Mac now have the ability to run on both the desktop and mobile operating systems, Microsoft said.
In addition to these two new versions, Microsoft added a bunch of updates and new features.
The biggest of these is the addition of the Office 2019 Mobile app, which Microsoft said is a better version of Office Mobile on iOS and Android.
The 2018 Office Mobile app is still a work in progress, Microsoft announced, and it will be released to Office 365 subscribers on May 29, 2019.
It’s also worth noting that Microsoft is also adding new features to the Office Mobile for Mac app.
The new version will work with the 2019 mobile version of Microsoft’s cloud-based Office 365 subscription.
For now, the 2019 Mobile version of Outlook is still available for free.
The Office Mobile apps will run on Windows 10 PCs, and the 2019 Microsoft Office Mobile will work on the desktop.
Microsoft said it is working with other software vendors to bring the 2019 update to mobile devices as well.
For example, the Microsoft Office Online for Mac App will work for Macs.
Microsoft said it will make it possible for users to use the 2019 app on Windows, iOS and Amazon Fire tablets and phones.
The same goes for Android and Google Pixel phones.
