How to use Windows 10 Mobile to play Xbox 360 games
Posted On June 20, 2021
The Microsoft Office for Windows 10 mobile update was released last week, which brought some big changes to the Office app, including the addition of the Xbox 360 controller support, Xbox One Controller support, and Xbox One Kinect support.
However, there’s one thing that hasn’t been updated yet: the Xbox One controller support.
While Xbox 360 and Xbox one controllers have been supported for some time now, Microsoft’s mobile app doesn’t offer a way to use them.
That’s because it has a “legacy controller” that doesn’t support Xbox 360 controllers, as well as a “keyboard only” controller that doesn-at least on paper-work.
Microsoft has been updating its apps to support controllers and keyboards in the past, but they weren’t officially supported by the Xbox Live service until just recently.
The Xbox One controllers have a lot more support than the Xbox Ones, and you can also use the Xbox Wireless Controller on Xbox One.
The Microsoft Office app has been around for some years now, but there’s still no official Xbox 360 support, which is why the app doesn-a lot of people-still rely on the Windows Phone version of the app.
The Office for Android app also doesn’t have an official Xbox controller support (although you can still connect the controller to an Xbox One), but the Xbox Bluetooth adapter is compatible with Xbox 360 peripherals, and the Xbox USB hub is compatible.
