How to prevent Microsoft Office 365 outage and Microsoft Office Online outage in the cloud

Microsoft Office online outage: Microsoft’s Office 365 service is now down for several days, but you can still use your documents in Word and Excel.
This article explains how to get back online.
If you have a cloud-based service like Google Docs, OneDrive, or Dropbox, or have other cloud-connected services, you can also download the Microsoft Office Outlook app.
Microsoft Office Office 365 Outage: Microsoft Office outage: The Microsoft Office 2017 desktop app, which has been available for years, is now disabled.
This means that Office 2017, Office 365 Office Online, and Office 365 productivity software will not work with Office.
Microsoft Outlook for Windows 10 users: Microsoft says that it is not able to provide updates for the Outlook app, and it will not be updated.
Microsoft is currently investigating what is causing the problem.
Microsoft Excel 2016 for Windows and Office: Microsoft Excel 2017 and Excel Online are still available for Office users, but Microsoft has released an update to support the Microsoft Excel app.
This update is for Excel 2016 and Office Online users.
Microsoft Edge for Windows users: Users of Microsoft Edge are still able to access Microsoft Office documents in the browser, but Edge will be disabled for all users, including Office users.
Office 365 for Mac users: Office 365 has been discontinued, but users can still access Office documents using the browser and Excel for Mac.
Office 2016 for Mac and Office for Windows for Mac: Microsoft is still offering an Office 365 subscription for the Mac and a subscription for Office for Mac for the Windows 10 version.
